Kissonerga
Kissonerga is a lovely village about eight kilometres down the main road from Paphos.
This is approx 8 minutes by road from Paphos and only 4 mins from Coral Bay and Peyia. Kissonerga is an established residential area which offers a mix of local shops and a few tavernas plus fresh fish shop and pharmacy.
Trapped off the shore is the wreck of the MV Demetrios II, a cargo ship which became trapped in 1998. This now famous landmark (above) can be seen from virtually every vantage point from Paphos to Sea Caves.
We have a good selection of lovely villas in the Kissonerga area – from totally private villas with pools, to homely villas with pools in great, friendly areas.
With the Vardas beach only 10 minutes stroll away, Kissonerga is a good choice for the holidaymaker wanting to mix beach life with a taste of local living.
Along the coast road are several hotels, mini-markets, numerous bars and taverns, as well as small complexes of shops mainly catering for tourists.
