We’ve woken up to bright, crisp sunshine, golden skies and a wonderful ‘happy feeling’ today in Peyia and the villages around. With the promise of Spring showing in the shrubs and hillsides, flowers blossoming proudly and people smiling, its going to be a great year.

The rivers are slowing with much needed water. Troodos has a huge covering of snow, so skiing is great and the skiers , happy: a perfect day in paradise!

I was thinking this morning, that a holiday for me is all about having nothing particular to do with someone special to simply share the time with: if you are somewhere special to make the occasion even more wonderful, you are as close to perfection as you’ll ever be.

Its not about the money to spend, the shopping to do (though it helps the economy), the food to eat or the wine to drink – its about the moments: tons of them, filled completely with warm, sunny love and light!
