Washing our ‘dirty laundry’ over coffee!

What a fab hour I had this morning with Lisa, the gorgeous wife of Felix and owner of Oversee Property here in Cyprus . It was so therapeutic to discuss life/family – and the many joys of looking after holiday villas and their guests. Ours is a people business – and people are at best, wonderful and at worst, wonderful (customer is always right! something we agree on!)

Anyway, its rare for either of us to get time out and it was great to talk. Lisa and Felix have recently opened The Laundry Room, in Coral Bay and we had a chat about how towels are dried. Don’t laugh! The sun is fab but it doesn’t do any of us any favours when it comes to drying clothes or linens. Some dry and crumple, others dry and fade – so its a rare person who can ‘get the knack’ of this and customers want it to be right.

We did have a laugh though: I was telling her about Tony Without Teeth, (Tonys Mum) , falling out with Wicked William (her lover aged 92) and how she ‘finished with him, poolside at our home on the last night. Luckily, he’s deaf and tired, so he fell asleep during the tirade and just thought she was ‘on one’ again. Thankfully  , all is well. Tony (with Teeth and lovely tan – plus great legs but that’s only for me!), has just been home to UK teaching pool cleaning  and called  in on his Mum – and all is well.

For now.

Anyway, Lisa and I have a busy weekend in our mutual businesses. Am very grateful to her for her time today ( xx but next time wine!) and am sitting ready to receive the enquiries for holiday villas with pools in Coral Bay and Peyia.
