the magic of holiday villa arrivals
One of the great pleasures of our work, is the moment just before the new holiday guests arrive in their chosen villas. The villas and apartments are cleaned beautifully, the pools are sparkling and the gardens all pretty. The properties feel full of promise , magic and anticipation. Emma and I look forward to meeting the new guests, to welcoming them into their villas and to seeing their happy smiles when they see their holiday homes.
I was reminded of this on Wednesday, when I was waiting in the beautiful villa Bella for the arrival of Tina and Rob, two of our regular holiday guests who’d chosen Bella for the first time. Bella looked gorgeous: Babs our housekeeper, had set the dining table and put lovely ‘little touches’ around the villa. It looked so lovely, that I had to take photos!
