The kindness of Peyia

This morning, I’ve experienced two lovely examples of unexpected kindness.
Firstly, I went to have a tire repaired after driving over a large screw which put a hole in the tire. When the tire was repaired and put back on, the young man, our neighbour , wouldn’t take a penny.

My next stop was the chemist to buy the weeky supplies for Alfie ie bandages, cream, nappies (to wrap the wound), gauzes etc – and the chemist wouldn’t accept any money for the nappies.

This wouldn’t happen anywhere else and makes me very glad, once again, to be in this lovely village!

Thank you if you are reading this! Its all a case of “washing the hand that feeds you”…..
