Stephs birthday and Green Monday
Its Green Monday tomorrow here, the official start of Lent and a bank holiday, spent with Cypriot families sharing a picnic down at the coast watching their children flying kites. Its a lovely sight!
Today, will be Green Sunday as far as my beautiful baby sister is concerned. She reaches the tender age of forty-something above and was probably out celebrating last night. As she is a full blooded, energetic Geordie girl, I suspect she and friends were painting the town red last night – and today she’ll be a little sensitive!
Last night also saw the HUGE celebration for Hoagys 50th, which happened just south of the Tees. I suspect there will be a few hangovers in the North/North East of England today but hope the special ladies who were celebrating , are feeling that it was all worth it today and that they had a ball!
Me? Well, it was a “school night” so I behaved: many arrivals today in villas and apartments in Coral Bay and Peyia so I’ve had to wake up bright and breezy
Green with jealousy for missing out and not being with either my sister or friend but bright and breezy and ready for arrivals! Bring ’em on!
