Shopping in Peyia, Cyprus
Its a magnificent, stormy and wet Saturday – perfect for going shopping for last minute Christmas food (we’re having xmas lunch here at home with some close friends). Luckily, Peyia and the area close by, has a plethora of great shops, from fruit and vegetable ‘market’ style shops to the big, flash, ‘own label’ style supermarkets.
I HATE shopping with a passion but Tony, my husband, loves it. Anything with garlic, is purchased, put in the cupboard (then normally thrown out after sell by date!). Today, we’re braving the shop together , which is never an easy ‘sport’ but I’ve shown Tony the contents of our fridge and cupboards first, so he knows we don’t need much – even with garlic!
Wish me luck! I’d prefer to be at home reading the latest great book I’ve found but Tony wants to shop! Luckily, The Great Raymondodoulou wants to watch the Middlesbrough match in the pub, so Tony has to be back for that. Yes , am stalling leaving the house so we don’t have much time!
While Tony and TGR grump and drink their way through the game, I’ll be responding to enquiries for holiday villas and apartments for 2015. Must put a bottle of wine on my list so I can have a cheeky glass as I reply to your enquiries! Good day to get an extra special offer, I think! email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and I’ll be happy to share great deals with you! You’ll win even if the Boro don’t!
