Seeing red?

A lot of the owners of the villas we look after, are here now or planning to come to organize the annual repairs/redecoration and put in new bits and pieces.

I love this time of year! There is a ”frisson of excitement ” in the air, as shopping for villas is done/pools are relined and gardens are gifted new shrubs and furniture. The village of Peyia feels like it’s waking up too – with restaurants polishing their signs and refreshing menus.

Soon, the streets will be filled with tourists – and I’m looking forward to what the returning guests think of some of the villa and apartment upgrades!

Most interesting , is the fact that some owners this year, are choosing to paint the interior of their villas in bright colours! Gone are the days of simple, cool beige or cream: we’re now in the midst of primrose yellow, dove grey and Mediterranean terracotta: just gorgeous!

No doubt, there will be a ”’them” somewhere, whose advice is to keep everything neutral to eg calm the senses or comfort the tired amongst us! Tough! This year, we are going for vibrant/welcoming/interesting and warm….
