Santas flying visit to Coral Bay
Stop press! Santa has been spotted flying over the villas in Coral Bay. The local children in the villas of Peyia, Kissonerga and Chloraka are besides themselves with joy!…..
How did this happen? Well a local estate agent, just on the banana bay road, tied a huge 8ft inflatable Santa Clause to the roof of the office – and the winds came and took Santa off for a fly around the area! Locals and holidaymakers alike have reported “really seeing” Santa flying past them!
The weather forecast is for the winds to drop tonight – and with them, Santa will come tumbling down . I suspect all the keen nurses and all the quick rescue gang, won’t be able to put Santa together again: not if he falls into the banana groves or onto the rugged rocks on the hillside!
I sincerely hope his landing is a happy one – and one which is not witnessed by a child whose heart will be broken to see Santa go “pop” and disappear.
Of course, it could be a slow and very noisy passing – which shouldn’t be witnessed either! There’s not much worse than having to experience a pumped up old person releasing unused gases!
Still, Santas had an adventure – and Coral Bay have their very own Christmas story to relate!
