Remembrance……

At 11am today in Peyia village square, UK expats will hold a service of remembrance, which will be attended by many cypriots as well as those of us who are guests in this country. With 2000 men still accounted for on Cyprus, following the troubles of 1974, thoughts will be with them and their families – and prayers will be said for answers and knowledge, to allow these families to move on.

Thoughts also reach to those recently bereaved in conflicts all over this supposed civilised world. The fighting continues, for seemingly pointles reasons and lives are lost unnecessarily.
