Rainbow weather

Its very stormy here in Cyprus at the moment. We are in the season which varies between spectacular hot weather and then magnificent storms. Its gorgeous to live through – but the holiday guests in villas in Coral Bay and Peyia . I checked a lovely family into Villa Coral on Sunday and they’ve experienced the worst of the rain. Yesterday, it was 22 degrees but felt much colder – then it poured down just as this lovely family were walking along the front at Paphos Harbour!

Those of us who live here, know to keep a sense of humour, umbrella and coat close to us: those on holiday should keep hope, humour and a taverna close by!

….and just as I was writing, a rainbow has appeared over the whole of Peyia! Beautiful! But the storm is on the hill behind it!!
