Power surges

Its been a joke in our office and home for a while now, that I’m experiencing “power surges”: the type that go alongside hitting the F word age and cause spontaneous combustion (or so it feels!)
Well, after the terrible disaster on Cyprus last week, we’re all experiencing them, with times of power “out” and the related difficulties.
Its funny though how quiet the area goes when the power goes off. I’d never thought that electricity makes a sound but it must because when its off, its so peaceful, quiet and still – a little like me on a good, non personal power surge day!
