Peace and Hope.

The weekend is here and I know how very lucky we are to be spending it here at home in Peyia.

There are so very many people longing to be here; needing their holiday and wanting their piece of guaranteed sunshine. I never take for granted how lucky we are – but do you know what? It’s the same life, different temperature!

I’ve laughed at myself this morning, getting up early to do chores around the house, knowing I’ve got the weekend to catch up before work /office steps in again on Monday. I’ve stripped and changed beds, washed and ironed; cleaned bedrooms, bathroom, dusted and vacummed – and now I have to go shopping so we can eat tonight and tomorrow!

When we are on holiday, it’s great to stay in someone elses house or country, to be cooked for and not have ”normal stuff” to worry about! Life is the same – but we’re lucky to have the sunshine!

I’m also lucky to have the beaches close by – but in 17 years of living here, I’ve had 1.5 days in total chilling on a beach! There just doesn’t seem to have been time when the villas are full of holiday guests and there is work to do!

My Aunt has reminded me a few minutes ago, that the housework will wait! To chill, read a book and stop fretting about being practical – but it’s not easy, ladies is it?

That said, in about an hour, I’ll be sat on The Thinking Step enjoying the peace and looking forward to hearing from people who will book to come to a holiday villa here in 2021! The villas, sunshine, beaches and bars are all waiting to welcome you and we hope to see you all soon!

Right now, the ironing mountain can wait too! have a lovely weekend!
