out of the mouths of babes….

Whilst checking the lovely family out of Villa Stavroulla this morning, I was enjoying a chat to Erin and her younger brother, who was telling me all about nursery and his friends etc
We talked about swimming and Erin was teasing her brother about having to use armbands so, to make him feel better, I said, ‘Well, I have to sometimes use a float to keep me up’…..

This lovely little boy looked me up and down before saying, ‘but you are so heavy: how does it work’………

I’ve tried to feel better by thinking that, to a 3 or 4 year old I do look heavy but when I talked this over with Tony, aged 54, he also thinks I look heavy…………

Luckily, I can punch Tony – but punching guests isn’t really ‘on’ , is it?……
