No reason at all!
Molly Mou walks every , with a purpose in her step. She is always busy, busy , busy and rarely wastes a moment on pottering or just sniffing about. Her “me” time is spent on her back, legs akimbo, having her tummy tickled by the nearest human. Oh, the joys of being a cute little dog!!
Alfie is far more laid back: he’s the gentleman of dogs: charming; easy going and always there in the background ready to step in and help. Jake is a completely different kettle of fish: he seeks out cuddles and header=No reason at all!, Molly Mou walks every , with a purpose in her step. She is always busy, busy , busy and rarely wastes a moment on pottering or just sniffing about. Her “me” time is spent between our house and Debbies next door, miouwing to his hearts content till one of us takes pity on him and goes to feed him some goodies….
Its good having a purpose but its good not having one sometimes too. One of the key things I love about the work I do here with the holidaymakers in Coral Bay and Peyia, is seeing how they chill out and go into “no reason” mode: nothing is done in a hurry; brains are shelved for a week or two and common sense flies out of the window. We are there, at the end of the phone to do anything they need, from changing a bulb to finding the master electrical trip switch to choosing a restaurant for them to visit – so why should they worry? Holidays are for relaxing and so they should be.
We’ve relaxed for an hour or so today and its been lovely. I spent 90 ish mins just watching the world go by and thinking about absolutely nothing. Now, I feel like a “new woman” – and, so it seems, does my refreshed husband, so I’d better get my face back on and find a “special purpose” to occupy him for the next few hours!………..duty calls!
