Many Happy Returns!

There is a saying here in Cyprus, that a visitor never comes here only once: having visited, they return again and again.

Thankfully for us, this is also true of many of the lovely people who choose to holiday in one of our villas in Coral Bay and Peyia. Today, we’re welcoming back 3 families who’ve holidayed with us 4 times each – and we’re very much looking forward to seeing them all again!

There is something extra special about having people trust you with their holidays. One of our returning families simply emails to us and asks us to choose a villa for them, let them know which one when they arrive and book them into a restaurant that we choose for them! So far, things have gone well!

Of course, the same return factor applies to our family and friends too: we’re already taking “bookings” from them for “their” rooms in our home, same time next year! I’m thinking of putting a BnB sign up outside!

We even built a “residents area” for our own use, next to the pool: with “posh” sunbeds and shaded area plus drinks table, its lovely – but suffers the guest rush early morning to put the towels down before we get the chance to make a cup of tea!

End September and into October, Coral Bay is filled with many familiar faces: people are very much creatures of habit and keep their Cyprus routine up with vigour.

Tony is happy about this -not least as we HAVE to join our holidaymaker friends who regularly return here, for welcome drinks: it would be rude not to , wouldn’t it?
