Lockdown Lore

On a day filled with such awful worldwide news in the press, I’m trying to think positive and have been considering all I’ve achieved while working from home during lockdown!

So, I got up and was showered and dressed by 8.30 am – well, for the first week. Things have slipped a little but I do blame the cold weather!

The house sparkles! Or did when the Christmas decorations were up and the shiny lights did their thing!

I’ve organised my wardrobe: for that read, “I’ve found my warm sweaters and comfy jeans in amongst all the stuff!”.

The garden looks lovely – from the comfort of the warmth of the house and after Tony has ‘tidied it up”.

Barney T Rubble has constant company and loves to chat to me. He’s even started to play , ”hide and seek”’and  disappears as soon as I sit next to him to start to discuss the days events with him!

I’m cooking more.

The same things – but more of them.

The taps aren’t shiny – yet – but I’m planning on doing them soon. Probably after I’ve tried new recipes and helped Tony with the garden!

In fact, I’ve done nothing spectacular at all – and I always thought that when I had more time at home, great things would happen and certainly that the house would shine and dust wouldn’t darken my door. Seems time expands and I’m too happy doing what I like to do, to do anything I should be doing!

Am still ”shaking the custard tins” though to get rid of Bingo Wings!

But most importantly, I’m still here to take bookings for lovely holidays villas in the sunshine – even for next year!
