Its a people thing……..
One of the most unexpected and lovely things about living here in Peyia, is how many new people we get to meet. From holidaymakers staying in the great villas in Coral Bay and Peyia, which we care for on the owners behalf, to new friends and their families and friends …….people whose paths we would never have crossed had we not been living where we are, right now.
For example, I don’t know how I would have coped with the past few years of eg losing Jake, Alfies illness and Mollys loneliness, if it was for Susie F and The Great Raymondodoulou . They are two of the best people in the world – all the way from our home town area in the UK, to Peyia!
Friends like Karen and Wayne, who make the sun shine even brighter when they are in Peyia, have warmed our hearts with so fun and shared real life things too – I feel so very lucky to have the opportunity to have met these great people and to now share part of our lives with them…
‘Course, the only problem with sharing is how sociable it can be: last night, it was Karens birthday and we joined her, Wayne, AJ, Jean and two of their wonderful friends, Jane and John , eating and nattering at Andria Restaurant in Coral Bay. It was a great evening…
Tonight, we are partying again, this time with Carrie and Chris, who own the beautiful apartment Isis in Peyia, then tomorrow, we’ve got to arrange to see Lyn and Paul and catch up on the newly wed lives……..I’m shattered but its worth it!
Life is nothing if the journey isn’t shared and celebrated along the way -and with the amount of celebrating we are doing, its a pretty good one!
I’ve a date with a sunbed one of these days! Probably joined by Molly Mou and Susie F if I’ve got anything to do with it!
