Holiday Inn Nicosia

Tony and I were just talking about our trip to Nicosia and have agreed that our holiday guests in villas in Coral Bay and Peyia, should take a night out and go to this lovely city, staying in the Holiday Inn in the centre, just off Ledra Street.

We stayed there Thursday and the hotel was lovely: staff were friendly, hotel was clean and spacious, location was perfect for walking around the city and breakfast was great! Only thing we didn’t try was the Marco Polo restaurant on the roof – mainly because I’d have wanted to join in the Latin American dancing and Tony wouldn’t!

Its so easy to drive from Coral Bay to Nicosia and the city is so very rich in history, tradition, warmth – and good places to stay,( though the Holiday Inn is now our favourite): its got to be worth doing!

Certainly, we’ll be encouraging this trip from now on – and I suspect Tony will want to take the guests himself. Any excuse for another overnight stay there!
