happy people and sad news
We’ve had a great week welcoming guests to villas in Coral Bay and Peyia. Plus the owners of Villa Garlands, the lovely Alex and Liz are also here, as are the Chards who own Stavroulla and Melanie and Steve who own villa Melanie- so its busy time.
The weather is beautiful but the only cloud on the horizon is that Alfie dog has taken a turn for the worse. He went to have his wound stitched yesterday and Annie and Nikolas have found another lump, which is most likely more cancer and which has prevented the op from going ahead. As Alfie has been losing weight despite eating like a small horse, we know now that our time together is limited and that we must make the most of every special moment, which we will do. For as long as he is happy and playful, we will love and care for him but keep watchful to ensure he doesn’t suffer………………….my heart is broken but he’s the most precious dog and I wouldnt swop a moment with him for anything…..
Seeing the smiling faces, enjoying their villa holidays, has helped a lot. Life moves on and days bring new life, new challenges and new pains but all is as it is.
Hope you have a great Easter in the UK! Ours is next week so we’re having a “double whammy” so to speak!
