Happy Birthday Mum!

Today is my Mums birthday. Happy Birthday , Mum

For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting her, my Mum is the most wonderful, completely crazy and beautiful lady in the universe. She is , literally, completely mad! She has many talents – most of which she should stop showing now she is getting a little more mature! – but can turn any occasion into a party – and any party into something unforgettable (sometimes not for the best of reasons!!).

Seriously, she is wonderful. Not that she could be said to be a “traditional mum”: I think G n T given to daughters for breakfast, is pushing it a bit…… but she is unique and we all adore her.

Today, I think Mum is 58: no, not really but she’s decreasing the years as I’m increasing them. Soon, she’ll be younger than me and, as I’ve always done, I’ll be the “mother figure” and my mum, the youngster.

There is a theory that , as bright little spirit souls, we choose our destiny and parents well before birth. I couldn’t have chosen better and am very proud to be her daughter. Life wouldn’t have been the same if it had been normal! Mum is like an extra star in the sky
