Grapes!

Grape excitement in the Bell household on the hill in Peyia today. For the first time in the 9 years since we planted it, our vine has given us huge bunches of grapes! They seem to have sprouted overnight and are EVERYWHERE!

There is also a very curious creature, bigger than a normal caterpillar, ‘guarding’ the bunches. Jake hasn’t seen him yet but I don’t actually fancy Jakes chances against him! He looks a little feisty -and Jake has just been caught and showered, he’s not feeling too strong and is behaving like a big spoilt baby!

I can hardly drag myself out on departures and arrivals to holiday makers to lovely villas in Coral Bay today: I want to sit and watch the grapes!

Sad? Yes – but happy too!

Its like having wine hanging everywhere! Hoorah!
