Glove box cat

Well, the day didn’t start as I expected! Arriving in the office, Emma was all in a tizz describing a cat which was stuck in the glove box of Adam’s car.

Adam was at the vet, trying to see if Nikolas could help release the cat from the car but nothing was working, so he had to use muscle power to literally pull it out, after taking the glove compartment, apart.

So, we’ve had a crying pussycat in the office for the morning, sat next to me in a borrowed cat box!

Thankfully, Tala Monastery Cat Park kindly took the cat in. I’ve just been up and taken him – and wanted to stay there and play with the hundreds of cats who were enjoying the sunshine!

The Cat Park is amazing! Houses everywhere, furnished for warmth and protection for these precious animals. There were cats sitting on the rooftops, languishing in the sunshine – and many are cuddled by the volunteers who go daily to sit and give love to them.

I think it was a lucky day, this beautiful little ginger kitten climbed into Adams car. It’s had a big adventure with a happy ending.

When you come over to holiday with us in a villa in Coral Bay or Peyia, take a morning to go to Tala Monastery and call into the Cat Park. They love visitors- and welcome donations! I’m helping them at the Christmas Fayre on Saturday, at Begonia Garden Centre, Paphos. Pop and see us if you can.
