We’re all very excited in our villa on the hill in Peyia village: Alfie dog is being allowed home from the vets for a weekend pass! Everything is being scrubbed and cleaned, including Jake and we’re ready to go and get him……
….but its hours away yet! He’s to be collected at 1pm so I’ll have to keep busy and stop Jake and Molly going into the mud till then, which wont be easy!
March has brought beautiful sunshine but biting cold winds: lovely dog walking weather – and fantastic weather for the holiday villa and apartment guests who like to stroll the hills and take in the magnificent views. The fields are very green and lush and the flowers are starting to come through: very pretty time of year.
I’ve got a bunch of tulips, given to me by Tony on Valentines Day, hanging upside down on the washing line. My husband is nothing if not practical and bought tulips with bulbs on, so that we could plant them in the garden, replacing the ones which Molly, the alternative gardener, “dug up” a few weeks ago. The tulips look funny: like a row of thin aliens with large heads, laughing at us at we go about our business…..
Course, am so excited , have had a glass of bubbly for breakfast, so it may just be me!
(Made that up: course I haven’t had bubbly for breakfast! Am a gin girl!) x
