Doesn’t time fly!
Today has been great fun: Lauren, aged 8 and Evie, aged 5, having been teaching me some dances and songs from Highschool Musical! Jake has been joining in with them and Molly has been trying to avoid the many feet which seem to be running/ dancing around the poolside. Alfie, predictably, has been chilling in the cool of the house!
Watching this with Mary, the girls mum, I cannot believe where the time has gone: it was yesterday when Mary and I were dancing in one of our homes in the North East, normally after a few beers – and now , we are meant to be the responsible ones and these two wonderful little bundles of energy look to us for approval. Little do they know – but they do have a fantastic Mum!
We’ve been the Phillipos Supermarket in Peyia village this morning , where we bumped into a great couple whose wedding we watched 2 years ago, when Tony photographed the event for them after their photographer let them down. (They were staying in one of our villas – we were happy to step in). It was their second anniversary yesterday – again, who steals the years! Anyway, a HUGE congratulations to “Mr and Mrs Martin”, as our Cypriot friend called them! Here’s to many, many happy years ahead – full of travels to Cyprus.
Now, we’ve to get two little sunkissed bodies into the bath : thankfully a “mummy” job coz I’m having enough trouble with my not so little but equally sunkissed bod and need some cream!/cool water.
Tomorrow is another day with arrivals in the villas in Coral Bay – but today has been another perfect one: thanks to wonderful friend/guests/animals and the magic of this beautiful village in Cyprus.
