Dexter’s Day: Water play!

I was very good overnight.

Sort of.

I stayed downstairs on the settee and left Mummy and Daddy to sleep.

While they slept, I ”rearranged” the Christmas tree –

(Why do angels have heads?) –

Anyway , at just past , past silly oçlock, I got into bed

With my parents

So they got up.

Daddy got showered and went to work.

Mummy got showered, dressed and was just going to work

Then the plumber rang!

It was such fun!

The pipes had burst on Sunday,

So we had water everywhere in the kitchen!

I loved it! I splashed and splashed and Mummy chased me!

But Daddy switched the water off so we had to stop.

Today, Mummy climbed into the cupboard,

To move everything ready for the plumber

So I jumped on her back and laughed and jumped

And she got cross,

So I brought  my teddy and we both jumped on Mummy’s back

And we laughed-  but Mummy didn’t!

But she had to keep cleaning – and I couldn’t hear her angry voice

Because she was in the cupboard!

I like this game!

She wasn’t looking, so I stole more xmas decorations!

But Mummy came and found me!

I got into EVEN BIGGER TROUBLE!

”YOU ARE IN THE DOG HOUSE BIG STYLE””,  she said,

But I gave her the cute eyes, (Daddy told me to do this a lot), and she ALMOST smiled.

The plumber has given us water again , (thank you).

Mummy is smiling again,  (bigger thank you).

But I’m STILL in The Dog House?

NO THANK YOU!

CUTE EYE OVERLOAD……………………….

It’s worked!

Mummy is such a pushover.

I love my Mummy – now, what can I eat?
