Dexter’s Day: Training?

I’m only a puppy

but I’m a bit confused.

Lindsay came to see Mummy and I yesterday,

To do some training that Daddy had organised.

I liked Lindsay but she had a VERY SCARY VOICE!

She stayed with Mummy and I for an hour or so

and we covered: don’t jump; biting; climbing;

how to use noise to stop naughty things happening;

how to ignore and not encourage; how to tie the human to you; –

and then we all talked about everything we’d learned

and planned to meet up again, on Friday.

It was very nice having Lindsay here

But, as I was thinking to Daddy later,

Mummy isn’t too badly behaved ,

so I don’t understand why she needs to be trained –

But Daddy seems to think it’s important,

So I’ll help Mummy through this.

We boys have to stick together!
