Dexter’s Day: Tidying up.
Me and Mummy and Daddy and we and they and I and them,
Did a BIG JOB of tidying up the garden at home last night!
Mummy was telling Daddy and I how lovely the villas were looking,
with their cushions out/comfy sofas/ sparkling pools and flowers –
and I thunk that Daddy felt a bit guilty coz he’s been busy
and our garden looked like, well, like it had been , ‘Dextered’!
And it had!
And it did again when we finished tidying up!
I ran and jumped on the clean cushions and played and threw things –
but Mummy didn’t. And she had to get the long blue pole to get stuff out of pool!
There were treasures in there: three new cushions, Ted, Caterpillar, a shoe –
and a half eaten pair of Daddy’s pants!
I thunked to her that I did it to make her smile and share my treasures with her
but she gave me the ‘look’ and tried to use a ‘cross voice’ –
and it didn’t work – coz her eyes crinkled and we had a cuddle and laugh!
I wuff tidying up. But I wuff untidying, better!
Wuff and wags
