Dexter’s Day: Protection Duty!

I have a JOB!

Am VERY BUSY!

I started this job a few months ago

But I needed to make sure I was good –

And I”M GREAT!

So I’m keeping it!

(and I cannot even eat it!).

My job is to protect my parents

From monsters

Everywhere.

The fly into the house on their wings

So I jump at them and eat them

And hit my nose on the window!

They get together with their friends

and fly out of the bushes when we are walking,

So I JUMP high to make them fly away

(But Mummy needs to let go of me,

Coz she cannot jump high

and her arm isn’t long enough for me to fly properly!

Sometimes, I know they are hiding in the bedroom,

So I dive bomb the covers

To lie on top of my parents

So the monsters cannot get to them.

AND

I can now climb into the bubbles in the bath

To protect Mummy from Bubble Monsters!

I’ll protect Andy and Els people when they arrive.

Am sitting on their bed now

To stop monsters gathering.

I’m good at this job

I want MONEY FOR FOOD!
