Dexter’s Day: Playing it cool!

I thunk it’s the hottest day ever , ever, ever – except for the other hot days,

so I put Mummy on the lead and we went for a walk Very Early

Even before the birds had got up and got dressed!

I’d cleaned my teeth and cleared out my paws and was ready to go –

So I needed to drag Mummy out of her bed and take her with me.

It was very exciting!

But it was also very hot.

so when we got home, Mummy took this huge , blue ice bag

Out of the fridge – and gave it to me, laying it next to my settee.

It didn’t taste very nice so I didn’t eat it – but the box it came it did!

So I ate that!

Am now protecting the huge , cold blue thing by lying next to it……

Not sure what to do with it so am having a ‘lie down thunk’!
