Dexter’s Day: New Toys!

I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy!

Mummy and Daddy went shopping yesterday –

And left me a HUGE bag of new toys to play with!

When they went to bed, I played and played!

I’ve got potatoes and two big turnips:

The turnips are lovely and roll around!

There are carrots – but they don’t taste nice –

And onions

And small green balls which are HORRIBLE!

Funny coloured things which look like carrots

But also taste horrible –

And big purple balls!

It was GREAT fun!

Some bounced, some didn’t.

Some are hidden still –

But most have been picked up

And put in a black bag

Behind the scary wooden door

And Mummy says she’s throwing them out.

BUT they are going shopping again!

So I’ll get more toys!

But Mummy is going to hide them from me

And Daddy says I cannot have anything else

Till Christmas Day.

wonder if I can get the Scary Wooden Door off?

Will think about that while I sleeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppppp zzzzzzzzz
