Dexter’s Day: Mummy’s Lie-in (not!)

It’s Saturday morning and Mummy isn’t going to work until later.
Daddy went at daft o”clock this morning,
So Mummy has tried to snuggle under the covers….

I like this game!
Hide and Seek!
I can see where Mummy is,
So I’ve thrown my teddy bear; gorilla; a plant pot; one of her shoes
and now,
MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I can jump onto the bed!
I’ve landed on Mummys shoulder!
It worked – she is getting up!
I’m a good puppy – I’ve saved her from the covers!

What? A bath? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Oh, you Mummy! That’s okay.
I’ll take the bath mat and the towels
And your clothes
And keep them safe

In the puddle outside on the balcony!

It worked!
Mummy is chasing me!
I love to play!
I’m a Puppppppppeeeeeeeee!

Oh…..am in the Dog House again.
Well, at least I can get a lie in now.
It’s too busy being a puppy when you are tired.
