Dexter’s Day: Mud in your face!

I love walking my Mummy and Daddy.
Everyday, when they finish work,
I tie them both to me and we go for a walk…

Well, that’s not exactly true:
First I have to let Daddy drive Mummy and I,
To where we are going to walk,
Then I tie them to me.

We’ve had to change where we walk.
Mummy said it was , ”too embarrassing” seeing the girls
Flinging themselves at me –
So we are doing a new walk
AND I”M MEETING NEW GIRLS!

Mummy tuts at me
But I just sniff and snuffle!
Daddy laughs.

This new walk is GREAT!
It goes right along the rocks,
just off the scary sea at Coral Bay –
and today , there were PUDDLES!

EVERYWHERE!

So I ran and jumped in them.
Then ran and ”touched” Mummy and Daddy!
Then ran back and ”splooshed” into the biggest puddle,
Then cuddled my humans
Because I Wuff them!
And Mud is good for them!

But not thrown at them at 100 miles an hour,
By a big, black n brown coloured, bouncy puppy –
MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

We are home now.
And I’m not happy.

Daddy wanted to stand under the water
And let it cry on him,
While he made bubbles with shampoo
AND HE MADE ME GET IN THERE WITH HIM!

I’m in the huff –
In the Dog House –
And Daddy is in trouble,
In front of the TV
Because he hasn’t cleaned up the mud on the floor –

So, when my parents aren’t looking,
I’m going back in the bathroom
And I’m going to ROLL AROUND till I smell better!

I’m a puppy
And I LOVE mud – and girls.
Muddy girls must be THE BEST!
