Dexter’s Day: In Big Charge!
It’s taking me a little time
Well, 10 months now –
But I’m getting my parents under control.
They realise now that they have to do what I want
And then everything is okay.
I’ve only get Mummy up at PAST silly oçlock now
Coz she is behaving quite well
But now and again, I’m Doubly Naughty
Just to keep them on their toes!
They dared to leave me alone on Sunday
For TWO WHOLE HOURS,
using the excuse that they were going to the airport!
(What’s an airport? Can I eat it?).
So while they were out,
I ”scalped” Mummy’s favourite stone ugly people statues
That she has had FOR YEARS , (She shouted that at me!),
But I wanted them to remember that
SUNDAYS ARE MINE!
So are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
And particularly Fridays and Saturdays!
Now we are all clear on the rules
I’m in Big Charge of EVERYTHING!
And I’m happy.
So I’m being a GOOD BOY.
For a SHORT WHILE!
