Dexter’s Day: Cozy Valentine’s Day.

It’s going to be so lovely

To be snuggled up to my Daddy.

Just the two of us.

Having a ”boy chat” and throwing the ball.

We will cuddle and play and have fun together….

Not sure how long the two of us

Will be in The Dog House

But that’s where we are right now!

It’s a special day, apparently.

I didn’t know.

I’m just a puppy!

Daddy knew but he lost track of time

And hasn’t been well enough to go out

So he couldn’t do anything about it.

Mummy says she understands but that it still doesn’t help!

Daddy explained that girls have logical and emotional thoughts.

Don’t know what they are – Can I eat them?

Anyway, we are where we are.

Quietly and without flowers or chocolate or cards

But we have each other.
