Dexter’s Day: Chilling by the pool!

Oh I love being a big dog now-I’m-not-a-puppy!

( I ate the puppy-me! Just saying!).

The sun is shining and it’s lovely and warm.

I take my friends down to the poolside

Where we sit on the settee while Mummy and Daddy are busy.

And we chill.

And we thunk thoughts….

I have Gorilla and Rude Angel, Indestructible Teddy

and Funny looking thing.

I’ve brought Rope and Two Plant pots

But Tree didn’t want to come back here:

He thunked to me, it was too close to his real home

And he was sad!

So we’ve covered the sofas in mud,

Snot , (mine) and bits (gorillas)

So Mummy doesn’t want to sit here –

and she said she cannot invite HER friends!

WHY does she want her friends?

We have MINE!

Anyway, I’m happy. Am drinking a cocktail

(Not really: I just heard Mummy dreaming about this)

And the sun is still shining….so am going to sleeeee zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
