Dexter’s Day: Are you sitting comfortably?

I am only a puppy, even though I’m getting big and strong.
But I was a bit scared
Coz Mummy said Aunty Jane and Uncle Steve
Were coming to ”sit on me”!

Ï was very confused:
I like these humans very much
And I know they love me coz they give me cute eyes and cuddles-
But why would they ”sit on me”?
What have I done?

Anyway, Mummy and Daddy were VERY CRUEL!
They WENT OUT WITHOUT ME IN THE DARK!
I was scared for them.
They weren’t tied to me and could escape!

But it was okay.
Aunty Jane didn’t sit on me but she sat on the floor
And I sat on HER!
We played with my new Chicken,
And Rude Angel, Gorilla and Teddy too.

We jumped and ran and played.
Uncle Steve joined in too!
It was dark outside but I didn’t worry
Because I had fun – and stopped them drinking wine!

I was very tired so I hid in my bed downstairs
AND THEY FOLLOWED ME!
There wasn’t room for them both,
So we all went back upstairs and played more.

The big screen was on the wall
Showing something called a movie –
But I didn’t let them watch it!
They had to watch MEEEEEEEEEE!!

Then Mummy and Daddy came home safely
And we all drank wine and ate popcorn
and PLAYED!

Aunty Jane and Uncle Steve can sit on me anytime they want!
