Dental floss and trauma
Nicola, my gorgeous friend who lives in Marbella and is on holiday here with us in Peyia, wears dental floss…….well, the lacy things she says are underwear, certainly don’t look anything like the sensible items my wardrobe holds!
Am very concerned because Sam, Nics eldest son (aged 14), slept the other evening, with our clother airer in his bedroom – and it has some of my not-so-smalls hanging on it!! Poor lad will never recover! He’s probably grown up thinking all women look like his beautiful and totally fit, size 8 mum – then he was reminded of the real world of curvier curves and generous bottoms………some things should just be left to the imagination.
Actually, talking of smalls, I’ve been having a secret (and very unkind) giggle to myself about one of the guests in a villa in Peyia, who washes his undies every day and hangs them out to dry. Which is great. Except he seems to wash at least 7 pairs a day! (maybe he has secret guests hiding in the villa!).
We’ve had a good week – well, apart from the fact that I’ve been quite ill and struggled my way through a busy week! (sympathy welcome)…..
Judy got married and looked totally stunning
Guests have arrived in abundance, filling the lovely villas in Coral Bay and Peyia
Nicola and the boys have been great company – and Nic is a fab help (thanks Nicola)….
plus the sun is shining: almost 32 degrees every day, which is higher than normal.
Clocks go back tonight, giving everyone an extra hour in bed – hoorah – and an extra hour on the island for the holidaymakers, which is even better for them!
Happy Saturday – and I promise to write more often.
