Cyprus- an island of surprises and beauty

Susie Floozy kindly ‘walked’ me today to help my rehab. We walked a very small part of the coastline in Kissonerga, from near public beach up past the St Georges hotel. There were people sunbathing in the gardens at the hotel and many other just sitting and watching the sea gently lap against the shore. It was gorgeous!

To help the economy and lift my spirits even more (as if I needed this LOL!), Susie took me to Sea Caves tavern – somewhere I’d not been before. Set right on the top of some of the sea caves near St Georges harbour, this basic place was wonderful. Simple chairs set in the gardens, with stunning views.

The GnT was pretty good too – so Susie and I whiled some time away , putting the universe to rights and talking to other locals about how lucky we are to live here.

With the sun in the heavens, the flowers in bloom and smiles in abundance, my heart is filled with peace today and I’m happy to be alive, if not a little doddery on my legs still!

If you’d like to come to experience Cyprus, email to me on enquiries@cyprusvillas.uk.com and I”ll put ‘best foot forward’ to get you best deal.

Photos below are of the wreck just off the sea caves coast and one taken from ‘our’ chairs in the tavern.
