contentment

On a day when the sun is in the heavens, the village is at peace,  Tony is in the office, Charlie cat is on the garden wall and the doggies are snoozing, I’m battling with my inner self to ‘do’ something productive: there are beds to strip and make/floors to wash and  ‘stuff’ needing attention – but all I can think and sense is total and absolute peace.

There is much right in my world and much wrong but at this moment, there is just ‘being’ and absolute gratitude for the people, animals and ‘colour’ that makes my life what it is. As my Nanna would have said to me, “Just put the kettle on pet and have a cup of tea’.
