Come for a walk with me
Only 6 kms from Peyia and Coral Bay, is St Georges harbour. A small fishing harbour, nestled in the rocks which hide the caves where the monks lived many years ago. Watched over by an imposing church, the harbour is a lovely place to walk, sit and enjoy the majestic scenery.
Tony and I have just spent an hour walking along there, marvelling at the natural beauty of the rock pools and the pretty fishing boats bobbing up and down on the gentle water.
With a storm gathering over bird island, we quickly ate an ice cream then headed back home – but you may like some of the photos we took today (shown below).
We’ve many villas only 5 mins drive from this beautiful area or, if you feel fit, you can walk from Coral Bay to St Georges, stopping on the way for a cocktail at To Oniro, snack and beer in Yialos or a coffee in Limni on the rocks.
