Brrrrrrrrrrrr!
Oh dear, winter is coming on. Its dropped to 22 degrees here today and I had to go to the office wearing (amongst other things you’ll be pleased to hear!), a warm cardigan!!
I love this time of year: you can wear layers and they hide the very generous bingo wings I’m developing plus the shades hide the giggly lines which, for some obscure reason, not extend down to my chin!!
We’ve had great fun today: we’ve housed two families in long term villas in Coral Bay and have found another wonderful villa in Peyia for a family who are coming to the office tomorrow. Yvonne and I keep promising ourselves that the office will quieten down and we’ll get time to shop but so far, no way! (though I’m a mean online shopper!!).
The sunrise and sunset is at its best in Nov/Dec/Jan, so its worth getting up early for (apparently!) and sitting on the thinking step to watch the sunset, if we can get home from the office in time! Phew, what pressure!!
And worse, some of our regular villa holiday guests are back again (3 lots of them) and each wants to buy us dinner for having found them lovely villas at great prices. So tonight, I’m wearing an even warmer jumper and we’re off to Michaels taverna in Peyia to eat whatever he is cooking (thats the rule).
Thursday is “posh nosh” with Sue and Ray so I’ll have to sort out an LBD – and warm jacket of course!! Then next week, we’ve two more plus the inaugural Lazydaze ltd staff Christmas Dinner!! So very exciting! We;ve always just been relaxed about this coz it was only Tony and I for years ~: now Yvonne and Garry have joined us and between us, we’ve a team of other great people, we need to celebrate – and we’ll do so!
Okay, time for lippie and to enjoy the fab Christmas lights in this gorgeous festive village! Kalinichta Sas!! (Goodnight!)
