We woke up this morning to the tiny, greying face of Molly Mou, who curls up and sleeps between us every night. It made me smile to see her chin, which is going more and more grey. She is so tiny and so very beautiful – at least you cannot see her wrinkles!
It’s been a tough few days, as life often brings but it’s also been one of those times when you simply have to go through things and come out of the other end, wiser and , god willing, stronger………
Lovely moments happen though, even in the worst of times: yesterday, as an example, Phil, one of our team, came into the office sporting a very short but very good hair cut. We were teasing him that he’d had his hair cut short to get rid of the grey. He laughed and said, “No, not grey: Arctic Blond”….I had my Arctic Blond cut out!”
As someone who regularly has to have her Arctic Blonde , disguised, this appealed to me. I’ve been telling Molly about it but she simply licked the end of my nose and smiled.
Of course, the sun disguises Arctic Blonde: so if you are looking for sunshine and fancy a holiday in a villa in Coral Bay or Peyia, email to me on firstname.lastname@example.org and have a more colourful holiday !
