A Yialos Taverna sundowner
Yesterday, Tony took me out of the house for an hour, to enjoy fresh air and the Cyprus ‘atmosphere’. Having been more or less housebound for over 9 weeks since my accident, the place I wanted to go was to Yialos Taverna in Coral Bay.
Why? Well, Rena and her family are just the best Cypriot people you could meet. The location is seafront and we could watch the waves crashing on the rocks. There is nothing for miles around, so we can simply sit and stare at the healing sea, listening to the sounds and feeling ‘at peace’.
Renas cockerill, is very friendly and walks around the tables like a puppy! The food is great; the gin n tonics went down well AND the sunsets are spectacular. where else would I want to be!
