A right royal journey!

We spent last evening in the company of a lovely couple who’ve just bought an apartment here in Peyia. Having not had much time to chat to them before last night, it was great fun catching up on stories/history and general nonsense.

The man was telling us a lovely story about the evening he and his wife were invited to Buckingham Palace, to dine with Prince Charles and Camilla. Apparently, dressed in full regalia and looking resplendant, they called a taxi company who sent a driver to collect them from their home and take them to the event.

On route, on the M4, the taxi driver asked them, “Where is this Buckingham Palace restaurant then Guv?”…….

Off with his head, methinks!!
