A photo shoot for Jake
Tony, Susie Floozy, The Great Raymondodoulou and I took Jake to the Troodos yesterday to see what he thought of the snow. Alfie isn’t well enough to stand the cold and Mollys undercarriage is too low for the 6″plus deep hillsides, so Jakes day it was…
We didn’t realise just how much of a day Jake would have. The huge great Monster Puppy was so very popular with the Cypriot skiing families, that we had to stop every few minutes whilst Jake posed with children of all ages – some up to 70! – and have his photo taken.
Jake behaved beautifully – except for the moment when we first got him out of the car in Platres to go for a coffee and Jake “dumped” ceremoniously in the high street opposite the cafe where we were going to have a coffee.
Surprisingly we didn’t get a cuppa – just a huge deposit to clear up and dispose of. Tony “took Jake out of the way”, leaving Susie and I to clean up. I don’t know who was more embarrassed: Sue watching me try to pick up the mountain or me trying to remove it! Yuk!
Still, snow was wonderful; day was great fun and Jake was a star. Didn’t get the chance to make a snowman but did return home with our very own snow monster, so thats fine.
