A November Day

I love this time of year – November is probably my favourite month (though I think I’m starting to sound like Bruce Forsyth on Strictly Come Dancing, when he tells every couple they are his favourite!!). Seriously, its gorgeous: light sun in the mornings till around 10 am when it warms up to mid 20s, then long, changing afternoons, with magnificent sunsets.

The storms start about now- but normally at night – so we can settle down on the balcony and watch the spectacular of lightning chasing an unseen enemy across the seas………gorgeous!

Many of the villas in Coral Bay and Peyia are still bursting with holiday guests: those guests being quite taken aback by the strength of the sun – and often emailing to say how shocked they are by the extreme cold when they get back to the UK!

Tonys Mum and Bill are having a lovely time – as are our dogs who are being spoilt by their Grandpeople and are being given more treats than enough! We don’t mind.

Jakes a bit of a worry today: he’s got a swelling the size of a tennis ball on his neck, so its off to the vet for us all tomorrow. Don’t know how they are going to examine him coz he’s very against anyone going near him. I think he’ll need to be sedated- as will I!!

Our Peyia home is sparkling- thanks to the outlaws, who kicked us out first thing yesterday so they could clean/sweep/mop! We are almost tempted to ask them to stay longer …………Oh, dear, Tony has just fainted!!

Off to see to hatches, matches and dispatches again. Have a lovely Sunday – and a very , very happy birthday to Jenny! Here’s to champagne together very soon!
