a new addition

Tony and I travelled to Larnaca yesterday to collect Tess, an 11 week old long haired Akita puppy who needed a home. When we got there, she had already gone , which we were both very upset about.

Before we left the place we’d gone to, Neo, who runs it, showed us a 3 day old litter of puppies to one mummy and a 4 week old long haired male puppy with his mummy.

This delightful little pompom of a puppy now has a new home. Ours. We’ve named him Barney T Rubble and he will come home at the end of October – when his ears and nose appear out of his furry face and he’s strong enough to leave his Mummy, who is called Gossip.

Gossip was gentle and loving with her baby and with us. I think she knew what was happening and was happy to let us plan to take the care of her precious little son, from her – though I’d personally like to bring Mummy home too!

As Tony pointed out though, there is enough gossip in Peyia without adding any more LOL!
