Tony, Lynn & Co, The 'Real' Faces Behind Cyprus Villas

We now live happily high on a hillside above the village of Peyia and can see Coral Bay resort very easily.

At night, we sit and watch the stars, see the planes coming over to Paphos airport – and have even been known to use our binoculars to check on our guests wellbeing, as they potter in and out of the tavernas in our village!

The transition from running individual businesses, (Tony had a mobile communications business and Lynn worked – and still does – in commercial radio in the UK), to working together 24/7 in our villa business has been interesting to say the least!

Rather like two tigers fighting over meat, we both fight to get to the email enquiries first; love the thrill of finding the right Cyprus villa in Coral Bay area for our guests – then behave like excited children when the holiday villas are full, the guests happily enjoying themselves and everything is as it should be!

When we get the chance to relax, we do take it very seriously and step out of the "lions den" of Cyprus villas into the Bengal Tiger pit! – meet Sala!

Our Family

Alfie Dog
To save the argument, we decided that Alfie dog could be "in charge" of everything to do with the holiday villas. Alfie has been the boss of our family for 7 years now, moving from Yorkshire to live happily in "his " villa in Peyia with us.

He regularly patrols the villas in Coral Bay and villas in Peyia with us and ensures all is well. A total "people dog", Alfies life is one long holiday as the guests in the villas buy him ice creams, beer – and even let him eat with them if he "asks " nicely!

We do think he is taking the mickie just a little though, as the picture shows, when he insists on having his own sunbed on the beach in Paphos whilst we were enjoying a very rare day off!

Molly-Mou: (Alfies pal)
Molly-mou (Mou is the Cypriot term for "love", "dear" or, if you're a Geordie like Lynn, "pet"), mou-ved in on our household one year after we moved to live in our villa in Peyia. An adorable little Yorkshire Terrier/Cyprus poodle, we'd seen her thrown from a car up in the hills near us ,one dark night. Sadly, we couldn't catch her as she ran into Pikini Forest, near Kathikas outside of Paphos – and we thought that was it.
Until 5 days later when a scruffy little bundle arrived on the edge of our pool and has been letting us wait on her hand and paw ever since! She is a total delight – like a cuddle on legs – just wish her bark couldn't be heard in ALL of the villas in Peyia!

Best of friends, Alfie and Molly are now in "big charge" and "little charge" of Cyprus villas – and take their roles VERY seriously indeed!

Charlie
Cyprus is famed for its cats – and Peyia /Coral Bay are no exception. However, Charlie kitten (one year old July 07), came from the lace village on Lefkara. Not on paw but hand delivered by a very dear friend of ours and her twin boys – who thought it would be, "good fun to see what Alfie and Molly think of a kitten!"

Well, Alfie and Molly love Charlie – so much he is now an "honorary dog" and regularly walks with us to some of the villas in Peyia to check on people. Charlie has busy days playing with Alfie , Molly and his older sister cat, Tiff (who is totally beautiful but camera shy!). As a completely ruined and pampered feral cat, Charlie also finds time to chase lizards.

Best of all, Charlie loves Molly……….aaah

A final loving word for Cloudy:
The business cards we have for our Cyprus villas business show a lovely photo of Cloudy Cat enjoying one of the magical sunsets in the Peyia area. Sadly Cloudy passed away early in 06 and is dearly missed by her people and animal family. Aged 10, she travelled with us from UK to Cyprus and loved the life here and the holidaymakers she met at our home and villa office.

All in all, for holiday makers coming to stay in our villas in Peyia and Coral Bay who want to know more about us, we say simply that we are a complete and happy family living in our own villa in Peyia and looking forward to welcoming you to our beautiful island home!
